NDHSAA administrates two classes of volleyball (A and B), held in our fall season.

• State Volleyball Tournament - Change of Venue

The NDHSAA Board of Directors met Friday, September 30, 2011 to review the location of the 2011 NDHSAA State Class A & B Volleyball Tournament.
 
Due to correspondence received from the Minot Tournament Committee and flood related concerns over facility parking and hotel accommodations in Minot, the tournament scheduled November 17-19 will be moved to Fargo's FARGODOME.

It is the responsibility of coaches, officials and acitivity advisors to verify their own clinic completion on the lists below before the close of each clinic window.  Consequences will not be forgiven for failure to self-verify clinic completion.

August 8 - August 29, 2011

Rules clinics attendance/completion is mandatory each year for all football, volleyball, soccer, tennis, cross country, softball, swimming, hockey, gymnastics, basketball, wrestling, baseball, track & field officials and head coaches.

Officials and coaches may also fulfill attendance requirements by attending any official rules clinic conducted by any of the state associations and having their attendance card sent to the NDHSAA office for credit. There are no make-up rules clinics.

A coach/official must attend/complete one of the clinics or camps/workshops per sport listed in this schedule.

Penalty for failure to fulfill a mandatory clinic requirement shall result in a $50 fine to the school for the first offense and a $100 fine for each subsequent offense during same school year. Fines must be paid prior to being permitted to participate in NDHSAA post season activities to which the fine applies.

To complete the online rules clinic:
    •    Log in to MVP
    •    Click on My Profile on the bottom left side of the page
    •    Click on the Officials Registration tab that appears on the grey menu bar
    •    Click on the blue Baseball Rules Clinic link that appears above the rules clinic schedule
    •    You must complete the rules clinic including all quizzes to gain credit for the clinic
    •    After each quiz, you must click the SUBMIT button and the FINISH button before continuing
    •    Upon completion of the rules clinic for officials, credit will be automatically be given within their MVP account.  You will see verification of your completion on the screen. 
    •    Verification lists will be posted on Mondays during clinic windows on each main sport/activity page.  Coaches & officials are responsible for verifying their completion within the clinic window.

Online Exam Window

September 7 - September 12, 2011

Officials and head coaches of baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, hockey, soccer, softball, swimming & diving, volleyball and wrestling must take an open book test in the sport(s) in which he/she is a head coach/official.

The test will be available on-line only and must be completed and submitted within the applicable window.

There will not be a late testing window.

All coaches must have MVP approved roles as coach of their sport(s) before they will be able to access testing.  All officials must be registered through MVP to officiate and NDHSAA must have processed registration fees before any online exams may be taken. You must allow for mailing time.
