Printing Team Flyer (Team Information) from MVP

To Print a team Flyer (program) through MVP

  •  Log in to MVP

  • Click on the “Schools” tab on the right side of the blue menu bar across the very top of the pageSelect your school by clicking on the name of the school

  • Click on Season then the sport you would like to print a flyer for on the right side of the page

  • Click the “Print with picture” or the “Print without picture” icon on the right side of the page just below the long grey menu bar 

  • Note:  This is the only way to get a high quality picture for your flyer.  Pictures pulled from our website in any other manner will be a web ready picture only which will not give you a high quality print. 

To enter Team Scholars:

• Log on using your MVP login and password
• Click on the Admin button on the left side of the page. 
• Team Scholar will appear in the grey menu bar. 
• Choose your sport and enter the GPA for your team. 
• By clicking SAVE the application is electronically sent to NDHSAA. 
• An acknowledgement of receipt will be sent to the email address listed in the submitted form.

To upload a team picture and cutline:

• Log in to MVP from the main NDHSAA webpage on the left side of the page under MVP Login
• Click “Dashboard” on left side of page
• Choose the appropriate season (Fall - Winter - Spring - Activity) then the appropriate sport/activity under season.
• Click “Roster” on the grey menu bar above the team information
• Click “Team Photo” on the right side of the page and select the “Add Photo” link that appears
• Click “Browse” and browse on your computer to the picture that you would like to upload.
• Pictures must be in .jpg forrmat and smaller than 5 MB
• Click “Upload Photo”
• In the box below the photo entitled “Team Lineup” put in your cutline (names of people pictured in the order they appear )
• Click “SAVE”

To upload a team roster:

• Log in to MVP from the main NDHSAA webpage on the left side of the page under MVP Login
• Click “Dashboard” on left side of page and c
• Choose the appropriate season (Fall - Winter - Spring - Activity) then the appropriate sport/activity under season.
• Click “Roster” from the grey menu above the team information page
• Click “Add” on the right side of the page and select the “Player” link that appears.
• If your students have already been imported into MVP earlier this year
• Click on “Your School” in the first column
• Click on the name of your school in the second column
• Click on your student’s name in the third column
• Click “Add Student”
• Select your students position, height, weight, or other roster information
• Click “SAVE”
• If you have students that do not appear on your student list
• Go to Step 2 - Add a student
• You will need the student’s name, birthdate, year entered 9th grade and a student ID number in order to add your student.
• Select your students position, height, weight, or other roster informationClick “SAVE”
• Repeat for all students on team.

To add games to a team schedule:

• Log in to MVP from the main NDHSAA webpage on the left side of the page under MVP Login
• Click “Dashboard” on left side of page
• Choose the appropriate season (Fall - Winter - Spring - Activity) then the appropriate sport/activity under season.
• Click “Schedule” from the grey menu above the team information page
• To add a game, click “Add Game” on the right side of the page
• Click on “Date” and a calendar will appear - Choose the date of the game
• Enter Start Time - and End Time - Either in military time or with an am or pm (no periods)
• Example: 7 o’clock at night would be entered either 7:00 pm or 15:00
• Select Participating Teams
a) Filter Schools - Highlight School Category in column a
b) Select a School - Highlight School opponent in column b
c) Select a Team - Highlight Girls’ Basketball (or whatever sport you want to select)
d) Add the team - Click the “Select Team” button
• Check the Out of State List before adding an out of state or JV opponent. To add an out of state team that is not on the existing list, click on the “Create a new out-of-state school”. JV opponents are added as out of state school
• Choose a location – My School – Other School (Select a school) or Other Location (either from list or add a new location)

• CLICK SAVE

To add a tournament:

Tournaments should be added as tournaments. Once the tournament is added, individual games are added within the tournament.
NOTE: Only one school needs to put the tournament in to MVP to have it show up on the schedules of all participating schools. The host team of the tournament should enter the tournament into their schedule and add participating teams to the tournament.

• Log in to MVP from the main NDHSAA webpage on the left side of the page under MVP Login
• Click “Dashboard” on left side of page and choose the appropriate season (Fall - Winter - Spring - Activity) then the appropriate sport/activity under season.
• Click “Schedule” on the grey menu bar , click “+ Add Tournament” and enter the tournament name
• Click on “Date” and a calendar will appear - Choose the opening date of tournament
• If the tournament includes more than one date, click “Add another date” and continue to add dates until all dates for the tournament have been added.
• Enter Start Time - and End Time
• Either in military time or with an am or pm (no periods)
• Example: 7 o’clock at night would be entered either 7:00 pm or 15:00
• Select Participating Teams
a) Filter Schools - Highlight School Category in column a
b) Select a School - Highlight School opponent in column b
c) Select a Team - Highlight Girls’ Basketball (or whatever sport you want to select)
d) Add the team - Click the “Select Team” button
• Check the Out of State List before adding an out of state or JV opponent.
• To add an out of state team that is not on the existing list, click on the “Create a new out-of-state school”.
• Continue to add teams until you have entered all of the teams that are in the tournament.
• Choose a location – My School – Other School (Select a school) or Other Location (either from list or add a new location)
• CLICK SAVE

To add games to a tournament:

• Log in to MVP
• Click “Dashboard” on left side of page
• Click appropriate season (Fall - Winter - Spring) on right side of page
• Click appropriate sport under season on right side of page
• Click “Schedule” on the grey menu bar
• Click the “Edit” link on the right side of the same line as the tournament name
• Your page opens to the “Overview” of the tournament. 

• Click “Games” directly to the right of “Overview”
• Click “+ Add Game”
• Under Game Information –
• Choose Team 1 from the Drop Down menu of teams participating
• Choose Team 2 from the Drop Down menu of teams participating

• Choose Date
• Enter Time:
• Either in military time or with an am or pm (no periods)
• Example: 7 o’clock at night would be entered either 7:00 pm or 15:00
• Enter Bracket (If desired)
• Enter any special instructions
• CLICK SAVE

Both the tournament and the tournament games that you are involved in will show up on your school schedule.
