2016 State Class B Plays Results

The 2016 NDHSAA State Class B One-Act Play Contest was held Monday and Tuesday, November 21 and 22 in Jamestown.

 

The top 8 places awarded at the finals were as follows:  1st – Larimore, “Shut and Bar the Door”;

2nd – Enderlin, “In A Grove:  Three Japanese Ghost Stories”; 3rd – Central Cass, “The Amish Project”;

4th – Richardton - Taylor, “AND”; 5th – Edgeley High School, “Nora's Lost”; 6th – Thompson, “The Survivor and Other Urban Legends”; 7th – New Salem-Almont, “Cyrano de Bergerac”; 8th – Burke County, “The Struggles”.

 

 

Superior Actor Awards were presented November 21 at Jamestown High School to:

Cassidy Neidviecky - Central Cass

James Seibel - Harvey/Wells County

Robert Wright - Glenburn

Annah Greenmeyer - North Sargent

Daniel Young - New Salem - Almont

Schools qualified for State from one of 10 regions statewide with contests held in early to mid November. Participating were:  Burke County, Carrington, Center-Stanton, Central Cass, Edgeley, Enderlin, Glenburn, Harvey-Wells County, Kenmare, Kulm, Larimore, Lewis & Clark, New Salem-Almont, North Sargent, Richardton-Taylor, Rugby, Thompson, Washburn, and Wyndmere.
