2013 State A Boys' and Girls' Basketball Tournament
The NDHSAA sponsored State A Boys’/Girls’ Basketball Tournament will be held at the Bismarck Civic Center, 315 South 5th St., March 14-16, 2013. Jim Haussler, Athletic Director for Bismarck Public Schools, will be the tournament manager.East Region basketball is scheduled for March 5, 8-9 and West Region slated March 7-9 with the top 4 boys and girls teams from each region advancing to state competition March 14. State tournament action begins at 1:00 p.m. in the Exhibit Hall with the girls’ East Region 1st seed playing the West Region 4th. Boys’ contests begin at 2:00 p.m. in the Civic Center with East Region 1st seed meeting the West Region 4th seed.
Thursday March 14 and Friday March 15 provide afternoon and evening sessions. Saturday’s consolation action begins at 9:30 a.m. Tournament play continues concluding with the girls’ championship slated for 6:00 p.m. and boys’ title round following at approximately 8:00 p.m.
