Sportsmanship Grant Program

The NDHSAA is offering a grant opportunity for all member high schools that choose to offer an in-person Sportsmanship and Fan Behavior Workshop for their student fans.  To qualify for the grant of $200, the requirements below must be met.

In order to qualify for this grant, member schools must have the following representation at their workshop (member schools are welcome to expand the list of participants):

• Principal or Assistant Principal
• Athletic Director
• One Female Sport Head Coach
• One Male Sport Head Coach
• One Female Student-Athlete from each winter sport
• One Male Student-Athlete from each winter sport

The following NDHSAA resources must be covered during the workshop:

• Review the NDHSAA Mission Statement
• Review the NDHSAA Behavior Expectations
• Show the NDHSAA "Be the Change" Public Service Announcement
• NFHS #BenchBadBehavior Program

The workshop must take place on or before Friday, March 1, 2024, and the request for funding ($200 per member high school) must be completed by Friday, April 5, 2024.
