NDHSAA Boys Tennis Tennis Preview

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – The 2017 North Dakota High School Activities Association boys tennis season begins Friday, Aug. 25.

Minot is hosting a nonconference double round-robin this weekend to get the season started. Out East, the season begins with Eastern Dakota Conference openers slated for Tuesday, August 29.

Bismarck Legacy is the preseason coaches pick to win the Western Dakota Association garnering six of the seven first-place votes in the poll conducted this week.

The Sabers have won or shared the WDA crown each of the last three seasons.

Grand Forks Red River is the defending State and East Region team dual champion. The Roughriders reclaimed the state team dual championship a year ago after losing the 2015 final. Prior to 2015, Red River had won 17 straight NDHSAA boys tennis team dual state titles.
