Minot HS Alum Gary Cederstrom Named World Series Umpire Crew Chief

VALLEY CITY, N.D. – Veteran Major League Baseball umpire Gary Cederstrom, a graduate of Minot High School and former North Dakota High School Activities Association official will serve as crew chief for the 2019 Major League Baseball World Series between the Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros, which begins Tuesday night in Houston, Texas.

This is Cederstrom’s fourth World Series assignment (previously 2005, 2011 and 2015). He also served as crew chief in the 2015 World Series between the Kansas City Royals and New York Mets.
